Christine Lamberth is an award winning wildlife artist who hales from Rorke’s Drift in KwaZulu-Natal. Her work has been exhibited in London, Moscow, St Petersburg, Johannesburg and many other centres. Christine’s work is Africentered and is intended to set up a discourse about the greed of man and how it affects the wildlife of the African continent. She hopes to be able to redirect the gaze of the viewer from that of a romanticised concept of the African landscape to an awareness that time is running out and the animals of Africa need our help.
